Root canal problems: Root canal therapy is a highly successful treatment when properly performed and when the tooth is restored afterward with a solid restoration like a crown or onlay. Sometimes the tooth can become brittle and develop a fracture of the root, especially when a crown has not been placed after the root canal. You will need to have the tooth examined and x-rayed to determine the cause of your pain.

See a dentist..: I cannot think of a home remedy that can work. These pain problems can be difficult to decipher. I can only recommend your visiting a reputable dentist. In that way the problem can be found and treatment can be recommended. The treatment may be as simple as taking antibiotics to another option just as involved as extraction with a replacement including a dental implant and crown.
