Epidermal or -idymal: Epidermal cyst refers to skin & has nothing to do with sperm count. Epididymal cyst may contain sperm, but being a cyst has no communication with epididymal sperm duct. Surgery for epididymal cyst will not improve sperm count, on the contrary, surgery may damage epididymal duct resulting in a lower sperm count6.
