Yes--see your MD: It certainly can contribute to both depression and fatigue, which can set us up for more weight gain as we lack the energy and interest to remain active. If you haven't already done so, see your primary care doctor to begin figuring out what is happening. Thyroid problems, hormone imbalances, and borderline diabetic conditions are among several possible causes that should be checked.
