Varied: There are many different types of brain malformations, thus the symptom complex is varied. Some common symptoms are seizures, developmental delay, failure to thrive, language delay, blindness, etc. The list goes on and is dependent on the areas of the brain affected by the malformations.

All kinds: A brain malformation is a general term for some part of the brain that did not develop correctly. For every part of the brain there can be a malformation and the symptoms of each one would be different depending on the part of the brain effected. Some would have no symptoms.
