Weever Fish: If stung by a weever fish it is common to have extreme pain, itching, swelling, redness, tingling & the area may be warm to the touch. Nausea , vomiting, headache & joint pain can occur. In rare but serious cases there can be severe wound infections, difficulty breathing, arrhythmias, seizures & loss of consciousness. Tetanus status should be checked. Secondary wound infections warrant medical.
