Why does my heart pound? i'm 6 weeks prefnant

Super common: It's very common to have that sensation in pregnancy. You 'feel' your body so much more, right? Your heart rate increases and your blood volume increases too. Sometimes you may even have occasional palpitations where you feel as if heart is racing. All normal. The hormones of pregnancy 'ramp up' your cardiovascular system to accommodate growing baby. If you're worried, talk to your doctor.
