Great job!: It sounds like you are doing a great job to get in shape. The key to exercising or running to lose weight is to gradually increase your level of activity so that you do not cause an overuse injury. If you have been putting a lot of mileage in and you feel that it is too much, try running a shorter distance, but push yourself a little harder. Make sure you get a physical exam first.
