HIV: The recommended procedure is to test for antibody at 2-4 weeks, three and six months. If you want earlier info you can either get a p24 antigen (fairly accurate) or an RNA pcr, the latter being expensive. Hopefully you are being tested simultaneously for other stds, and learning not to have unprotected sex.
