Signs of DVT: Classic signs/symptoms of lower extremity blood clot (calf dvt) include swelling, pain, and discoloration in the involved extremity. Palpable cord, edema, warmth, and dilation of surface veins in the involved leg may also be seen. Charlie hoarse is less likely to be from a clot. Knowing an individual's risk factors for developing DVT helps your dr determine relationship of presenting symptoms.
