Sorry, but no...: Miralax (polyethylene glycol) is a lavage agent--the more you take the better the "clean out." MiraLAX (polyethylene glycol) neither directly affects appetite nor causes significant fluid retention when used as directed. By virtue of it helping to eliminate stool volume, one would anticipate weight loss with its use.
