Pleurisy : A chest x-ray would certainly be justified is suspecting bacterial as the cause of your pleurisy. Bacterial infections are one of many things that can cause pleurisy and many conditions are not technically pleurisy but can present as such. If symptoms are ongoing, discuss possibilities with your doctor.
