Erectile dysfunction: I assume you're referring to erectile dysfunction or the inability to attain/maintain an erection satisfactory for sexual activity. 1st you need to take care of basics like your sugar, cholesterol & blood pressure. Review your medications w/your doc. Stop smoking & drinking. Then ask about viagra, cialis, Levitra (vardenafil) & staxyn. If those don't work (or you take a nitrate), ask for alprostadil.

Good luck!: Once damage to nerves from diabetes is complete, not likely to have improvement, so need to get sugar under tight control asap to minimize damage. Then prescription meds (levitra, viagra, (sildenafil) cialis) 'might' be an option. If they do not help/can't be used, then urology consult can provide other options. See your dr or endocrinologist (/diabetologist) soon.
