Depends: What was splenectomy indication? Trauma, leukemia disease? Nevertheless after splenectomy, platelets and WBC can/ will be elevated.

Yes it is Normal: Depending on how far out from surgery day, this may be inside normal recovery. If you have fever, wound drainage, wound redness, then further evaluation will be needed. Okay to ask your surgeon.

Not bad: Mild to moderate elevation in platelets and white blood cells is not abnormal after splenectomy.
