A member asked:

Does consistantly high wbc and plt count have anything to do with fibromyalgia.my bones ache so badly my joints swell constantly and all i do is cry?

No: Joint swelling is not a part of fibromyalgia. Neither are blood count abnormalities. These symptoms suggest an autoimmune disease such as rheumatoid arthritis, adult onset still's disease, etc. My suggestion is for you to see your internist or a rheumatologist.

Not fibro: What you describe is not fm. See a rheumatologist to rule out an inflammatory arthritis.
