A member asked:

Can a girl still have her regular menstrual cycles and still be pregnant? my friend says she has gotten her cycle but still feels pregnant.

Not really: While some women do have bleeding during their pregnancies, it is not a menstrualcycle. Your friend should take a pregnancy test if there is any doubt.

No: The fact your friend said she might feel pregnant doesn't mean she is pregnant. Sometimes women get so called implantation bleeding which coincides with their menstrual period and it would be at 4 weeks of their pregnancy term. This sort of bleeding would be considered normal, although, qualitatively it's often different from a period. If they continue bleeding despite being pregnant, it's not ok.
