Paracetamol: Assuming you have no other medical problems and are otherwise healthy, paracetamol is a reasonable pain reliever sold in the states as acetaminophen. It can be used in conjunction w/ibuprofen, sold here as advil & motrin. However, it's important to know that regular excess consumption of alcohol can lower liver's tolerance for paracetamol, increasing risk for liver failure. Best to go see your doc.
