Blood flow: While this can occur from disturbances in the body's electrolytes, like potassium levels, it is also possible that there is compromised blood flow in the leg causing symptoms. It would be a great idea to see a vascular doctor, where simple tests like a doppler can assess blood flow in the vessels of that leg and see if it's ok. If not, then appropriate interventions can be discussed.
