Therapies v exercise: Walking is a good basic exercise & therapy that doesn't require much equipment aside from shoes. Squats, even without weights, is a good exercise for thighs. Work on form first, then consider jump squats (again w/o weight) to add explosive power. Lunges are good, too, both traditional forward/backward as well as side-to-side. Check out some fitness magazines or personal trainer to give you ideas.
