Manage it: Acne is a chronic disease and will recur from time to time until it remits as you get older. You'd do well to use topical benzoyl peroxide or a salicylic acid wash daily even if you are clear. If it's more severe, your physician may maintain you on a low dose of a systemic antibiotic, perhaps tetracycline 250 daily.
