#1 is Blood test: I'm really not sure what is meant by "personalized medicine" (i guess i thought all medicine was personalized!) but the tests that are needed for possible cirrhosis are blood tests to check the function of the liver and typically a sonogram to see the size and texture. If indicated, a liver biopsy may even be required to confirm the diagnosis or determine the type of cirrhosis.
