See your doctor.: The perineum is the area between the anus and the vagina/penis. Swollen veins are not common in this area and I have not seen this ever in many years of practice although anything is possible. I would be more concerned with a perianal abscess or fistulo in ano or some other infection or inflammatory process. It would be most prudent for you to see either your ob/gyn or a surgeon.
