VERY early: An HCG of 9 is just barely positive in our lab. You can certainly get it repeated in 48-72 hours to see if it is going up appropriately. Congratulations!

+ hcg: Hcg of 9 is positive but low number. I would repeat it just to make sure it is not an error. If you did feel pregnant and had a missed period and your hormone level is 9, there is a chance you had a miscarriage and the level is returning to normal. It's not a viable pregnancy with this level of hcg.
