Not as good: Stress ekg is a very sensitive test and may show signs of stress induced ischemia, such as st depressions. However, it has low specificity, therefore your md won't be able to tell you where in your heart the problem likely is. Nuclear perfusion studies show defects in the myocardial walls giving more clues regarding the possible affected territory.

Yes: A treadmill stress test can be done with or without a nuclear medicine study. If someone already had a test which was borderline or inconclusive..Imaging with nuclear medicine may be helpful.

Yes: And in a young female with no known heart disease it is probably all you need. But it is not as sensitive or accurate as a nuclear stress test and for someone who has known heart disease it is the better test.

Exercise treadmill: You could probably have an exercise treadmill test where you exercise while an ekg is performed. Keep in mind that studies have reported that there can be false positive results in women.
