Can i live a normal life with hepatitis c?

Sure--need treatment: Hepatitis c is common, & nowadays there is excellent treatment for it in the form of "triple drug" therapy with expectation in most patients of cure (svr=sustained virologic response). The sooner the virus is killed off, the less damage your liver sustains. The drug combination is a prolonged course, & its side efffects are great. However, untreated hepatitis c leads to cirrhosis & liver cancer.

Yes: Most patients have no idea they have hepatitis c. In fact the us military has blood from patients with hepatitis c dating back to 1947. Most of those patients did well. Unfortunately, 20 percent of patients with hep c can develop cirrhosis and 20 percent of those can develop liver cancer.
