Stubborn...: Unfortunately, the skin of the scalp is particularly stubborn and most of the time requires oral medication for weeks to months to clear up tinea. It is best to see you doctor or a dermatologist to MAP out a care plan, as the treatment can have side effects, especially on your liver. Wish i had better news, but you are likely wasting time and money using over-the-counter meds for this.
