Tinea Capitis: Tinea capitis (scalp ringworm) is particularly difficult to treat. Most often it requires an oral medication prescribed by your GP or a Dr on Telemedicine. The treatment course can last 4-6 weeks with the oral medication. During that time you will see the symptoms start going away and the lesions slowly heal. Grow back of hair may take longer, up to 12 weeks.
