Likely : A little alcohol (e.g. Half a glass of wine or less) may be safe in a post-cardiac bypass patient and even suggested as beneficial by some studies in coronary artery disease. Medication interaction with alcohol intake is another concern which your doctor can further discuss with you.

Freedom of speech: I'm pretty sure you can find one to say that for you if that's what you're looking for. Remember, alcohol is a toxic and a known cause of cancer. But i'm sure someone will exercise their freedom of speech and say that.
