Hi, i am from india. always bypass heart surgery better than inserting stent(angioplasty)? or it depends on circumstances like if there are more than 2 blocked arteries with more than 70% blockage, doctor would suggest a bypass surgery to heart?

Bypass vs stent: Yes. It depends on situation but if all 3 vessels blocked bypass is better also with diabetes and disease of the main left artery bypass is preferred. If you have two vessels and they include the left main artery then yes bypass could be preferred. However this is a complex situation and the treating cardiologist would need to see the films to make the best judgement
