Yerba mate: Yerba mate which comes from the holly plant can be had as a tea. Since it contains caffiene i would not suggest its use in a seizure disorder.

Yerba mate: Yerba mate, a shrub from south america is used as a beverage w antioxidant effects ; nutritional value. Yerba mate contains caffeiene. Because caffeine can lower the seizure threshold for some recommend that you discuss with your physician.
