Concussion: Traumatic head injury is a common cause for headaches. It is usual for the headaches to resolve however it is important to make sure underlying structures are intact by using an MRI of the brain to assure that the blood vessels and any bleeding are not present in your case. It is also common to have neck problems from a head injury so do not forget about your neck when completing the evaluation.

Concusion: If you have not had head imaging (ct or mri) done, you may need to do that. If those are negative, you will be prescribed treatment for your headaches. Post concussion headaches may be a challenge to treat, but in the experienced hands, you may be helped.
