Recovery likely: Should do well with treatment (vancomycin orally). If no recent antibiotic usage, hospitalization or other clear trigger/source, 'community acquired' tends to do very well with treatment. Will take few--several days for your body to get upper hand on diarrhea--probiotic supplement (otc) and/or live culture yogurt often can help reduce duration and speed return of normal GI flora.
