See your doctor!: If it is a burn, you may need wound care since your face can be disfigured. More worrisome is that the burn is actually an infection or an abscess caused by bacteria such as strept or staph. If not treated, the infection can quickly get worse. The doctor can examine to determine you will need just antibiotics or additional interventions.
