Possibly: You most likely will not get pre eclampsia again, however risk factors include history, weight, history of hypertension, diabetes, and renal abnormalities.

Possible: The recurrence risk is about 15%. There is no prevention - keep your appointments with your ob/gyn and the pre-eclampsia will be caught early.
