I've had a biopsy but been told i don't have coelic disease, could i still have it?

Not likely: Intestinal biopsy is the definitive test for celiac disease. If you have any doubt, you may wish discuss going on a trial of gluten free diet for three months, with your doctor.

Limits of test: If you had been gluten free for an extended period before the biopsy, your body may have healed enough that the test would be less dependable. If not it should be.If you had a positive IGA antibody study, Transglutaminase IgA & others you may be Gluten sensitive but not a classical celiac disease.Avoidance of gluten may help you avoid related symptoms.
