Difficulty learning: Intellectual disability usually refers to difficulty learning in childhood and is typically diagnosed at a much younger age. It also implies difficulty with adaptive or self-care/self-advocacy skills. Typically, this diagnosis is given after extensive psychological testing, including iq testing and measures of adaptive functioning. Your psychologist or physician can give you more information.

Complex issue: The processing and use of various forms of information falls into a variety of skill sets. Like a skilled football player may be horrible at golf, you can have better/worse skills in certain areas. This label is just a broad statement that you have one or more impaired thinking skills.It might include math, reading or retention, puzzle solving, etc.The person that set up the test should explain it
