I'm wondering why are military children more likely to be born with autism?

Uncertain: On average 1 in 110 kids will be diagnosed with autism. Military families have an average of 1 in 88 kids diagnosed with autism. This statistic comes from a website seeking resources to assist military families. It is called 'act today.' i can not find a citation for this statistic. I doubt that there is a definitive answer. Families with children with autism require special resources.

Tricare: I'm a retired army physician. It may appear that more military children are born with autism for several reasons. They have better access to medical care so are more likely to get diagnosed. Efmp screening before pcs identifies them . Tricare is one of the few insurances to cover aba . Many soldiers joined or stayed on active duty to obtain those benefits.
