Early Intervention : The earlier a child is diagnosed and started with therapies the better the outcomes. The plan needs to be multifactorial and may include biomedical, st, pt, ot as well as behavioral. All those who work with the child should be educated on what to expect and how best to respond to certain behaviors. Support groups for parents and respite care are key to allow them time to recharge.
