What can happen if you have an asthma attack?

Dr. John Chiu answered

Mild to death: If the asthma attack is mild , you may get over it on your own. If it is severe, you may die from it. It is always a good idea to check with your family doctor who will be able to get a more accurate history and likely obtain a lung function test on you to assess the severity of your disease this in turn will determine the type of treatment required.
