How do you know?: How do you know you do not have add? Many people your age have it and were not diagnosed because we knew so little about it when you were a child. Psychologists, included! get a 2nd opinion. If it looks like a duck, quacks like a duck, it may be a duck! good luck let me know if you get a 2nd opinion & find out that you do have it. There are a lot of things you can do to get better control.

ADD: The cognitive problems associated with add are similar to those associated with mood as well as anxiety disorders including but not limited to poor attention, poor memory, destructibility, impulsive irritable reactions..Etc. Diagnosis is not based on a checklist read and scored. It requires more than that. So please seek help from a professional for proper diagnosis. Good luck and feel better.
