So many things!: You don't have to "cope" anymore - there are so many therapies available. First, make sure diagnosis is correct. Many of the symptoms of ADD overlap with treatable medical conditions. Next proper sleep is essential. You need to get 7-9 hours of good sleep nightly - no exceptions. Next are behavioral interventions that can be incorporated into your life. Finally, lots of different meds are possible
