Test beliefs: If you're experiencing paranoid thoughts/anxieties it would be helpful to know if these are symptomatic of a mental disorder or just the discomfort of anxieties (nothing too serious). So, starting with a professional evaluation might be best. Otherwise, doing some personal experiments could also help. Do something a little scary and see if there was a real threat there or just baseless fear.

Instead of faking...: ... Consider getting help. Misinterpreting what's happening around u can leave u isolated ; scared. Most ppl having paranoia understandably feel frightened. Suggest discussing w/primary care physician 1st, 2 make sure nothing physical underlying the paranoia - conditions like hypothyrodism. If pcp finds no answers, suggest meeting w/a psychiatrist or clinical psychologist 2do more detective work.
