Why so drooly?: One of the most common causes of excessive saliva in otherwise normal people is that of reflux. If you have any symptoms of reflux you can try to take some over the counter medicine like Prevacid or Nexium (esomeprazole) for a week or two to see if it helps. Do you have bad teeth? That can do it. Certain medicines can do it too. Is it just when you sleep? Maybe sleep apnea. See a doctor if not improving.
