Excessive salivation: Is usually a temporary situation. It can be for a number of reasons - production of excess saliva by the salivary glands; decreased swallowing; reflux; side effect of certain meds. Often new or ill fitting dental /oral appliances can also contribute to excessive salivation. If you are worried consult a dentist or physician.
