What can i do for shooting pain in arch of foot?

Need more info: Best way to determine what to do for any pain problem is to figure out the cause first and that will include knowing how this pain occurs (spontaneous, only standing, etc) and what it is like, other symptoms (numbness or change in color of foot, swelling, etc). See your doctor to review these things for better guidance. In the meantime, if no medical contraindication, try otc analgesics.
