Possibly: Rosacea, particularly on the nose, can lead to a state known as rhinophyma, or "wc fields" nose; this can in some cases lead to development of skin cancers.

I see nothing on answers as to nose turning blue or purple on rosacea. Is this not one of the signs of rosacea? Thank you!
Can you explain in detail rosacea. I had thought it was just a skin disease per se. so is it related to lupus or a symptom of lupus?
