Go see your doctor: Pus = infection. Painful redness = infection. Both indicate infection that's not going away on its own. In other words, it's time for you to go see your family doc or perhaps to urgent care for evaluation & treatment. Don't wait until infection spreads to blood stream at which point you'll probably be too sick to log into healthtap.

Bug bite: The black spot may be a retained stinger which is acting as a foreign body and causing infection. Consultvyour doctor or check in oat an er for further evaluation and treatment with the possibility of oral antibiotics.
