On an mri, how do you know if you're looking at the right part to see patellar tilt or how the cartilage looks behind the knee cap?

Up to doc: The radiologist and the referring orthopedist are in the best position to determine the the "right part" to look at. Often the patient and/or doctor put a marker at the point of maximum pain prior to taking the MRI to help to isolate the area of concern better. Cross esection views are best to determine if the patella is tilting with the knee bent.
