Yes: It's normal in pregnancy for your hemoglobin to drop. This isn't so much that you don't have enough red blood cells, but rather you have increased water in your blood stream that dilutes the red blood cells. Best is to eat dark green vegetables and meat if you can to increase your iron intake. If not able to do with diet alone, consider an over the counter iron supplement in addition to vitamin.
