Usually not: Norovirus infections are a common cause of gastroenteritis (diarrhea with nausea and vomiting). The infection is usually self limited.

Not likely: Norovirus infections usually effect the GI tract with nausea, vomiting and diarrhea the major manifestations. Occasionally there is a low grade fever, but recovery within 1 to 3 days is generally complete. You must however stay well hydrated.
