Not related: People with or without genital hpv or std hpv may have plantar warts. The plantar warts are caused by strains other strains of hpv, strains that are not likely to cause genital hpv or std hpv.

Wart on Feet: It's not always the case. Plantar warts is common virus on feet. From heat, friction and moisture on skin can activate this viral component. Std hpv is the condition that would effect your immune system, decreases the capability on your body fight against any infections. I.E. Plantar wart is one of viral infections that may manifested on your feet. Check with you doctors for proper treatment.

The HPV family: HPV is a family of dozens of virus strains. The plantar wart strains 1.2.4 & 63 are not the same as the seven or more strains known to infect the genitals & be classified as STI's.
